Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
