Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been won on hardcourt
A comeback Medvedev won his first title for 882 days with success over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has endured a difficult season, achieving just one match at the major tournaments and suffering a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and struggles with his service game in especial - led to him dropping out of the elite rankings and finally splitting with long-time mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now training with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily progressed in the past month - peaking in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over challenger Moutet.
It is the player's initial championship after the Italian tournament and initial on a hard court after March of 2023.
Success also indicates he has won 21 championships at twenty-one different competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters simultaneously, so to win a title is really nice," said ranked player Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had lost his previous six championship matches, comprising in the German tournament previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive approach and regular outbursts on the playing surface had caused some to wonder if his skill to compete at the highest level was concluded.
But the player has altered his approach in the last few weeks, making an effort to approach the net and perform assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the tricky Frenchman, winning 4 of the last five points to gain the advantage.
The competitors traded break points in the middle set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden tour title, took control to force a final set.
Moutet rescued four early-game break points in a close final set before the champion secured a break to that score to close out the victory.
Fittingly, the winner earned the win with a rally at the net, with Moutet failing to control a return after a lengthy match.
